These are the descendants of Nathaniel and Anna Gull Dickinson who settled in Wethersfield in 1636. Nathaniel was born in England about 1600 and the exact date of his arrival in America is not known, however it is probable that he landed in Watertown, Mass, then moved to Wethersfield about 1635. He later moved with his family to Hadley, Mass. He was an educated, intelligent and influential man in the community. Typescript.
