Vol. 3 includes the autobiography of the editor, Clarence Eugene Pearsall, including life among the Indians while exploring for lumber possibilities in northern California and in Oregon, and later his trip through Central America (part of the way with John L. Stephens of Guatemalan archaeological fame).
