Margaret Ann (Peg) Allen, born on March 29, 1929, in Helena, Phillips Co., AR, married George Francis Bagshaw on April 13, 1956, in Memphis, TN. Peg was known for her positive attitude and ability to turn any situation into a positive experience, such as learning Arabic poetry when rejected by the Arabs for her blue eyes. She was actively involved in the community as a Sunday School Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, and Navy Relief Volunteer, never letting her handicap hinder her contributions.

Peg and George's life together involved moving to different countries, embracing new experiences, and welcoming young sailors into their home during holidays. Peg's dedication to community service and her ability to connect with people left a lasting impact on those around her. She passed away on November 13, 1997, in Orange Park, Clay County, FL, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and resilience.
