Printing New Books: New work must be submitted complete and “camera ready”. We prefer new work to be submitted in PDF file format, however we will also work from Word files and printed manuscripts.
We apply a standard pre-press fee for preparing a book/file for printing. If there is a need for additional work we will advise you after reviewing the file/book.
Reprinting An Existing Book: When an original book is in delicate condition, we will need to charge for the time it takes to scan the book and format the file so that it’s ready to print. If your book is in great shape and can be easily scanned, we may be able to absorb the cost of scanning when the initial order is for 100 or more copies.
Our Graphics dept. can help with layout, photo editing, placement and captioning. We can also provide custom designs for covers, dust jackets and more!
We also offer proof reading services for an additional charge.
LIBRARIES, & HISTORICAL SOCIETIES:
Do you have a rare and out-of-print genealogy or local history that you would like to have reprinted in order to preserve the original?
We take great care in handling your delicate, often disintegrating books and provide archival quality reprints which can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Please contact us for details and pricing for Private Printing, Publishing or Preservation.
*We also offer quantity discounts to Libraries and Societies when ordering existing titles from our catalog.
