This is an account of the life of Colonel Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell, the Hero of Mafeking. He was born in London on Feb. 22, 1857 and he was four years old when his father died. He became a hero to the British public when amidst greatest difficulties and extreme odds held Mafeking for the Empire for more than two hundred weary days of siege.  (Softcover)
