Richard W. Darling

Henry Darling was the son of Hon. William Darling who was at one time the President Judge of Berks District. His mother was Margaretta Vaughn Smith, who's father, John was owner of Joanna Furnace in Berks Co. Henry was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in Dec., 1823. (1823-1891) He  graduated from Auburn Theological Seminary in 1845, served as Pastor in several Presbyterian churches, was Director of Union Seminary and served in many roles as well as President of Hamilton College from 1881-1891.
