Lewis Allen, born in 1806, resided at Fisher's Island and New London, Connecticut for a good portion of his life and met Lucretia Isham there who he later married and together they had seven children. During his long life, Lewis Allen held many positions of honor and leadership in both military and civil life and after his passing in 1892, at the age of 85, his children continued his legacy and the Allen name remains a strong one. This book includes content on the ancestors of Lewis Allen, details on his life, and descendants of until the 1950s.
