James Anderson, a Scotch youth seeking his fortune in the New World, was among the passengers of a sailing vessel sailing its way through the Atlantic in 1707. He settled in Cheter Valley, Chester County, Pennsylvania and bought farm land with a Mr. Jerman and became part of his family of Quakers by later marrying his daughter Miss Elizabeth Jerman. This book highlights the Anderson family history, allied families, and Appendix A-E adding various information.
