Robert Barbar came from Yorkshire, England in the year 1687 and settled in Chester, Pennsylvania where he was a member of the Society of Friends and became prominent in Chester Meeting. This book tells of the early Barber ancestry and the extensive barber genealogy and includes an appendix.
