 This is an account of the descendants of Captain Elisha and Mary Atkins Coan of Truro, MA; Castine, ME & Exeter, ME. Peter Coan was born in Worms, Germany 1697 and sailed to America in 1715 with his parents and brothers. During the voyage both parents died.
