This is the genealogy of the Current and Hobson families, in Two Parts. James Current was born in 1730 in the north of Ireland. He came to America and settled in north west Virginia, what is now Grofton, West VA. He was married and had a son William. His first wife died. His second wife was Margaret Richardson and together they had five children. He lived to the age of 92 and she to the age of 93, both on the farm he originally purchased. Part two of the book focuses on the Hobson family.
