In 1749 on the good ship "Patience" were passengers Christian Eslinger and Hans Jerg Eslinger, both of Wirtemburg, who came to America and landed in Philadelphia. They were of German stock, coming from the Palatinate. Here is where begins Two hundred years of the Esslinger family.
