This booklet gives an account of Jacob Fischer, immigrant to America, who came from Freinsheim, an ancient town in the Palatinate, located on the plain west of the Rhine river. He settled with his family in the Perkioman Valley, granted land in 1733 in what is now Upper Hanover Twp., which is outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jacob died in 1748.
