This publication gives an account of the Fisher family and the history of the Fishers in Mississippi, with a focus on the life of the adventurous George Fisher (1795-1873). Much of his life had been involved in the history of Texas. He was a soldier, adventurer, scholar, and pioneer. He was born near Budapest, Hungary on April 30, 1795 and came to America as a youth.  It shows the Fisher crest, charts and descendants.
