This book gives an account of the history and genealogy of the Ford family and specifically from 1854-1954, showing the descendants of John Ford and Rebecca Chandler and their seven children. John and Rebecca Ford came from an English village north of London. This was an ancestral area for the Ford line as nearby churchyards gave headstone witness to this. By accepting a new faith it meant uprooting their lives, and a move to a place far off, for a new home. In February 1854 their family set off braking the ties with their native land. They would be able to worship God in peace.  Typescript.
