This publication gives the history of the Freed family and connecting families, that left their German land either directly or indirectly, due to war and religious persecution. They landed at Philadelphia and settled in and near Montgomery County, Bucks and Chester County, Pennsylvania,  including Quakertown, Germantown, Skippack, Harleysville, etc. They were part of the Mennonite Church.
