Here we have a history of the Gable family up to the year 1902. In September 1900 a reunion of the twelve children and grandchildren of John and Elizabeth Gable was held at their home near Ollie, Iowa. The family came from Germany to America, with George - in 1750 a young stowaway. He made his way to Lancaster County where he grew up and eventually married
