Genealogy and history of the James Getty and John and Andrew Lytle Families of Salem, New York and a history of the Scoth - Irish and their settlements in New England and New York.  Both families are Scotch, being of the many families that lived in Ireland for many years, retaining their nationality and religion. James Getty was one of three brothers who came to America in 1764.
