This book is a genealogy of Lewis Harmon Gideon and his wife Sarah Ann McFadden and of Joseph F. Gideon and his wives, Matilda Davis and Lydia Hager. They were Texas pioneers, arriving in the Republic in December of 1839. Lewis was born in Tennessee and died in TX., he lived from 1812 to 1879.
