This is the genealogy and history of the Gift, Kern and Royer families and in the author's words it serves to bring the various branches of the families closer together. The Gift and Royer families are related to some extent by intermarriage. John Adam Gift came from Germany to Penna in 1750 and settled in Franklin Twp, Snyder County, PA.
