This short booklet gives an outline sketch of the Gilfillan family, who they are connected with, their history and genealogy. And early history and settlers of Vermont, especially the towns of Rygate and Barnet, emigrants from Scotland, and the New England region. Among those coming were five brothers and one sister named Gilfillan; William, Robert, John, Thomas, David and Margaret - children of William and Helen.
