This book gives the genealogy and several generations of descendants of Giles Goddard, who was born in 1648 and came from England to America by 1678.  His family was settled in the Boston, Mass area. He was a carpenter, a commissioner and representative of Pemaquid, Maine. He was captain of a foot company in New Dartmouth, Cornwall County in 1684. The Indians eventually completely destroyed the settlement of Pemaquid.
