This is the Grafton Family of Salem, Massachusetts, where we see Joseph Grafton who came from England as early as 1636, probably earlier.  The baptism of a child is recorded in January of that year. He was a mariner and merchant, a man of considerable importance as seen at the time of his death he left a large estate, especially real estate. His first wife was Mary (Moore).
