This is the genealogy of the Graves family in America, with a history on the ancient family in England. Some variations of the names include De Grevis, De Greves, Greve, Grave, Greaves, Greeves, and Graves. Thomas Graves of Hartford, Connecticut and Hatfield, Massachusetts was born in England before 1585 and came to New England with his wife Sarah and five children before 1645. The youngest son was about sixteen years old when they came.
