These are the descendants of Edward Greenlee of West Virginia. These records are continued and brought to date in the 1956 book by William Clarkson Greenlee. The name is ancient in Europe. Religious persecution was the prime cause which led them to leave the north of Ireland and emigrate to America. We see several in Penna and Delaware in the early to mid 1700s. Numerous photos of family members are included.
