This book gives an account of the very early family history of the name, and records descendants of William Gregg (1616-ca. 1672) of Clan Gregor, immigrated from Scotland to County Antrim, and Ardmore, Waterford County, Ireland. His son, William Gregg (1641-1687), became a Quaker convert, - part of the colonial Friend group - and immigrated to New Castle County, Delaware. Descendants lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and related families.
