This is the Grimes - Grymes family genealogy beginning with the Reverend Charles Grymes, the first of the name in Virginia. He was born in Kent, England, in 1612. He entered Pembroke College in 1631 and was in Virginia in 1644. Because some records were destroyed, the name of his wife is unknown. His two children were Sarah and John. Biographical sketches of members are shown through the years, including some of those who served in America's wars.
