A historic collection on the Griswold family and the lineage of George Griswold through Edward and Matthew, brothers, with pedigree, covering a period of about two hundred and fifty years. These brothers came to America about 1639 and settled at Windsor. The earliest English settlements on the Connecticut River were about the year 1635 -these were Wethersfield, Windsor, Hartford, and Saybrook.
