This publication gives an account of the descendants of Richard Hallett of Dorset, England and those of Long Island, New York. Richard lived from 1588 to 1628 in England. His only son William, Sr was born 1616 in Dorset and came to America, and died in 1706 in Long Island. He was married three times. Children were by his first wife, Elizabeth Fones. They were William Jr and Samuel.
