This is a record of the Ham and Young family lineage in America. It follows the direct line of the first known Ham family in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. That is of William who lived from 1600 - 1672. He was married to Honor and they had children, also he had grants of land in 1652, 1660, and 1665 of about 160 acres. The Young family are direct descendants of James Young who came from Scotland to America before 1750. He first settled in Philadelphia, then to Barrington, N.H.
