James Harris, the progenitor of this branch was born in Bristol, England and emigrated to America in 1725. He married a Miss Boleyn, and had seven children, one was a daughter, the rest sons. Related names include Young, Jackson, Pierce and more. The mementos of the past, the connecting link of the living and dead, from the shores of New Jersey to the mountains of Pennsylvania their pioneer spirit lives on.
