This book presents a genealogical history of the Hart family of Warminster, Bucks County, Penna, and descendants. From England to Pennsylvania, John Hart, son of Christopher and Mary, was born in 1651. The Harts were of note, reputable, persons of considerable wealth, education and were of the society of Friends. John Hart, in view of his emigration and to purchase land in the new colony of America, entered into a sealed agreement with William Penn. John was accompanied by his sister Mary to America. He sailed with William Penn from the Downs at the close of August or beginning of September, 1682, and landed at New Castle.
