Dr. Wallace Taylor

A genealogy and brief history of the Haverfield (and Haberfield) Family of the United Sates. John Gormley Haberfield was born in England February, 1734. He did not come to America. His son, Andrew Karle Haberfield married Margaret Clark (she was German) They emigrated to America about 1825. They went to Wheeling, VA. They had six children. There is unauthenticated tradition that a  branch of James Haverfield was married to Nancy Smith in Lancaster County, Penna. Also that the Haverfields were English and descended from the Earl of Warwick, of whom there were several. There are sketches of numerous Haverfields in America.
