This book takes a look at multiple families and their locations, including the life of Alexander Hill, his marriage to Elizabeth Currie, immigrants to America, and their descendants. Alexander Hill was a Scotchman, born in 1779. At the age of ten he was apprenticed as a sailor boy, sailed around the world, and fought in several important battles, two being the Battle of the Nile and Battle of Trafalgar.
We see the Hill families in Canada, who became members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, and some Elders. The Hill families in Nauvoo, Illinois who suffered religious persecution, and their exodus from there, and the arrival of John Hill and Sandy Hill in Utah, along with many others.
