In earlier publications we are shown the descendants of the Holts and the branches focusing on the descendants of two founders, Nicholas Holt (Nicholas Holt was born in 1602. He and his wife, and at least one child, were passengers on the ship the James of London, which sailed from the port of Southampton, England, on April 6, 1635) of Newbury and Andover, Massachusetts. The other branch was of William Holt of New Haven. One of the children of William Holt was Nathaniel Holt, who became a resident of New London, CT. He had a son also named Nathaniel.
