This book provides a a historical and genealogical record of the Hosmer family; with the ancestors and descendants of James Hosmer, from 1600 to 1902. James Hosmer, the American immigrant was born in Hawkhurst, Kent County, England. He was the son of Stephen and Catharine. James and Ann Hosmer came to America in 1635 with their two daughters and two maid-servants. They settled in Concord, Mass. We see maps of England, numerous illustrations and an index of names included.
