Early Hough families of Bucks Co., PA is a paper that was read to the Bucks County, Penna Historical Society, with the author's aim in order to : indicate that a number of Houghs in the county that were founding families, and point out the inter relations of the ten pioneer Hough families, and present those who were in America before Penna was founded. Richard Hough, of the County Chester, in England, was a member of the Society of Friends and arrived in PA in the ship Endeavor, in July of 1683.
