This short biographical and genealogical paper was read to family members to remember the progenitors of the family, to pay regard for them, to learn of the ancestors, where they lived, who they married, their livelihood, and when they passed on. These are descendants of William Hurlbut or Hurlburt, who came from England to America by 1630. A family pedigree chart showing the descendants of Samuel Hurlbut and his wife, Jerusha Higgins, is included.
