IDEN: Sons and daughters of Randall Iden: authentic history of the Iden family dating from 1280 a.d. to the present year, 1941 a.d.
By V. Gilmore Iden
Randall Iden, with a family of eight and a pregnant wife, determined to move with William Penn, the Quaker, to America. It was in 1680, and would be a voyage of great risk and uncertainty. The last child was born in the port of Bristol, England while the family waited to embark. The father was stricken and died on the voyage. The baby was named Randall after his father. The mother reared the children, and they lived life among the Quakers in Bucks County, Penna. These are the descendants of pioneer Randall Iden.
