A Welsh family, settled in New England. This is an account of Capt. John James and Esther Denison James of Preston, Connecticut. They were in the first Indian Massacres of the Old Northwest. As some of the first CT pioneers they sacrificed their lives. Provided is a rich history of this area as it relates to these pioneering families.
