This history and genealogy records the British Jenkins, coat of arms, religion, prominent family members, and variations of the spelling of the name, American Jenkins of royal descent, those who served in the American Revolution, and information on the ancient Wales branch.

Descendants with notes of families with whom they were intermarried. David Jenkins emigrated from Wales around 1700 and settled in Great Valley, Chester County, Pennsylvania. He was. weaver and farmer. The early families were Episcopalian, later belonged to the Presbyterian church.
