This publication provides the Johnson genealogy from 1500 to 1914, relating to Captain Edward Johnson, the English ancestry, and line of his descendants. His father was William  of Canterbury. Edward Johnson came first to America in 1628, returned to England in 1630 and in 1637 returned with his wife and seven children. His wife was Susan Munnter. They resided in Charlestown, on Crooked Lane (Bow Street). He led quite a versatile life. Included are numerous illustrations, brief biographical sketches and genealogical charts are provided for the Johnson family.
