This family memorial portrays some of the prominent Hicks family members and genealogical records. Pictured is a list of allied family names in which information is given. Joseph Hicks went from Connecticut to the Wyoming Valley in PA in 1763. On July 3, 1778 the Quaker settlers were driven off by Indians, many being massacred and tortured. Many records were lost. Known are that there were five children.
