This book gives you a historical look at the pioneers of Kentucky, at Bryan Station, from 1779 to 1932. The land was first settled by and named for the four Bryan brothers. They had each married a sister of Daniel Boone. The battle at Bryan Station was a battle of the Revolutionary War, fought months after the surrender of Cornwallis. A battle for freedom and liberty from the Indians as well as England. It includes sketches of the heroes and heroines.
