This book gives an account of the life and descendants of Christian J. Beiler (1850-1934) and Barbara (Keener) Beiler (1848-1932), who were settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. His grandfather was Joseph Beiler, his father was George Beiler, of Lancaster County. Christian J. was of the Old Order Amish Church, then left it when a new congregation began, he was a Charter Members of the new Weavertown Congregation. Barbara (Keener) Beiler, his wife, was born in Worms, Germany. When she was fourteen her family came to America, it was in 1862 during war time. She was the oldest child in the family. In Germany the family belonged to the Reformed Church.
