My Father's People - This book provides the genealogy of a branch of the Catawba Nation as well as some records on marriages between Cherokee and white. Samuel T. Blue and other members of the Blue family are recorded, the relationship with the Missionaries to the Catawba, the Latter Day Saints as well as Catawba who fought in America's wars. From the author " I call the union between white and Catawba married, although the white man most likely was married to a white woman at the time.
