The Early Christian Church of Christ in Eau Claire, Michigan was founded in 1887 with Elder G.W. Hill as the first Pastor and 82 charter members. The church building, known as “The Church On The Hill,” was constructed in the Fall of 1887. Over the years, the church had a vibrant community with various activities such as Ladies Aid, Sunday School classes, and choir. The church affiliated with the Congregational denomination in 1921, leading to a period of growth under different pastors until 1948.
