Johann Bauersachs was born about 1665 in Memmelsdorf, Bavaria, Germany. His son, Johann Nicol Bauersachs, came to America in 1750 and settled in Pennsylvania. Descendants have lived principally in the Pennsylvania-Maryland area, and in Ohio, Michigan, and other midwestern states. This book includes history on the life of Johann Bauersachs and many of his descendants as well as a letter to U.S. Consulates, newspaper clippings, and marriage records from Pennsylvnaia archives.
