Wilhelmus Beekman, son of Hendrick Beekman, was born in 1623 and is known as the founder of the Beekman family in America. In 1647, he emigrated to New York from Holland aboard the ship Princess. This book gives a historical account of the life of Wilihemus Beekman and tells of the families that descended from him.
