This is a genealogical account of the Chandler family in England and America, and of George and Jane Chandler, who sailed from Wiltshire, England to Penna in 1686 / 87. Their English pedigree is recorded for two and a half centuries, with variations on the spelling of the name. In 1887 there was held in Chester County, Penna, a celebration where descendants of George and Jane Chandler gathered to commemorate the two hundredth anniversary of their immigration to PA.
